"Sydney artist Dr. Wade Marynowsky creates performance robots that straddle humour, high-camp and a host of unnerving thematic orientations to absorbing effect". Dan Rule, 2012.

Marynowsky has exhibited and performed extensively since 1998. Recent highlights include 'Black Casino' a new work presented in partnership between MONA and CAST as part of MONA FOMA 2013.

In 2012 he exhibited 'The Acconci robot', Experimenta's 5th International Biennale of Media Art, RMIT Gallery, Melbourne, 'Universal Remote', UTS Gallery, Sydney and 'The Discreet Charm of The Bourgeois Robot 2', The Western Plains Cultural Centre, Dubbo, NSW.

In 2011, He exhibited 'The Hosts: A Masquerade Of Improvising Automatons', at John Buckley Gallery, Melbourne, was in the group show 'Dorkbot Sydney' at Serial Space, Sydney. He performed in 'Macrophonics, Under the Radar', Brisbane Festival, Brisbane. That year Marynowsky also undertook an Artspace Sydney and Arts NSW International Residency at the Darling Foundry, Montréal, Canada.

Highlights in 2010 include being highly commended in 'The Premier of Queensland's National New Media Art Award', Gallery of Modern Art, QAG, exhibiting in the International Biennale of Contemporary Art, 'Mediations Biennale', Poznan, Poland, performing at 'SuperDeluxe', the 17th Biennale of Sydney and exhibiting 'Bricolage Disco: Autonomous Improvisation v.2', ST Paul St Gallery, Auckland University of Technology, New Zealand.

In 2009, he exhibited 'Autonomous Improvisation v.1' in Primavera, at the Museum of Contemporary Art, Sydney and held the solo exhibition 'The Hosts: A Masquerade of Improvising Automatons' at Performance Space, Sydney.
